To activate the handling fee, visit Settings in your Loop Admin. The fee total and fee name can be customized: 

Handling Fee Total
Dollar amount represented as X.XX

Handling Fee Name
By default, the fee is labeled a Handling Fee, but this can be customized. 

We also recommend:

  • Restocking Fee 
  • Shipping Fee
  • Return Fee 

In-App Language
The fee is displayed to the customer as:
*On credit card refunds, there will be a [$X.XX] [Handling Fee] applied. 

Additional Information
The handling fee is charged to credit card refunds as a flat rate fee. 

The use of a handling fee is optional. 

By using a handling fee, you incentivize customers to request product exchanges and gift card refunds more often than credit card refunds.
