Status is a customer account platform that helps Shopify Plus brands that simplifies the login experience by eliminating passwords and saving every step of the shopping journey.
In using the Loop & Status integration, merchants can improve the returns experience by:

How it works

When Status is active on your store, customers have easy access to their entire order history. By leveraging Loop's Orders API, customers do not need to enter in their order number or zip code to lookup a return. Instead, they can just select an order in their Status Customer Account to begin an exchange or return, no order number or zip code required. 

Customer Experience

There are a number of ways for customers to login to their account, once logged in initially they remain logged-in for up to 6 months on that device. In the account, customers have everything related to their order history + shopping journey

  • Products added to the cart
  • Points balance
  • Credit balance
  • Order history
  • Start a return or exchange
  • Send a gift receipt

Setup

The Loop integration works out-of-the-box with Status without any development work for the merchant. 

To get started:

  • Schedule a demo with Status Accounts
  • Status will help you select a plan that best fits your goals
    •  Note: passwordless login and returns available on the Free plan.
  • Launch Status in <1 hour with white-glove onboarding
  • Once Status is live, then customers can automatically initiate returns in Loop via their Status order history page

What Loop plan do I need to use Status?

This feature is included for merchants with Loop Plus or the Integrations add on.

If you are not on one of these plans and would like to add this feature reach out to your Merchant Success Manager or support@loopreturns.com. Merchants will also need to be on Rise's Premium Plans and above.

Who else does Status integrate with?

Status seamlessly integrates with top loyalty partners to display points in the customer account.

In addition to loyalty, customers that are logged into Status can track orders using Shopify tracking or LateShipment.

What happens if a customer already has a login and password with your shop?

Customers new and existing can simply login with their existing email address.

Status maintains alignment with Shopify accounts, meaning if they already have an account with your shop then they can use that same email address and their shopping history etc., will then appear within Status

Does Status edit theme files during install?

No! Status doesn’t touch theme files at this time. Our goal is low maintenance, easy to install, and ultimately, to work well with theme updates. Currently, we redirect existing “/account” URLs to open Status, which happens when the site renders in the browser, not in the theme files themselves.
