What it is
Loop Assistant is an in-app chat assistant available directly inside Loop Admin. It gives your team context-aware, guided help while you work — whether you're looking up a return, reviewing policy settings, or building a workflow. You interact with it through a conversational prompt interface that opens from the top navigation.
Loop Assistant is designed to assist your team, not replace final operational decision-making. Your team retains full control over all actions taken in Loop.
Why it matters
Loop Assistant reduces the time your team spends navigating and searching by bringing guided help to wherever you're already working. It's useful for:
finding returns faster without manually searching through the admin
understanding policy and workflow settings in plain language
getting guided next steps while on a specific page
reducing repetitive "where is this setting?" questions across your team
Note: For external notifications and automations, Loop Assistant works alongside — not instead of — integrations like Zapier. It's focused on in-app operational assistance.
How it works
Loop Assistant lives in the Loop Admin header and opens as a chat panel. You type a question or select a suggested prompt, and Loop Assistant responds with guidance, answers, or next steps based on your account context. You can continue the conversation with follow-up questions, then start a fresh chat when you move to a new topic.

Tip: Sessions work best when focused on one topic at a time. Start a new chat when you switch to a different operational area — it keeps responses cleaner and more relevant.
Getting started
Follow these steps to open and use Loop Assistant for the first time:
Sign in to Loop Admin.
Select the Loop Assistant icon in the top navigation header.

Type your question or task in the chat input field.

Review the response and use follow-up prompts to refine or continue.
Select New chat when you're ready to move to a different topic.
Tip: Use this prompt structure for the best results: state your objective ("I need to find...") → add context ("for this return/workflow/policy...") → ask for next steps ("what should I do next?"). Example: "I need to review recent returns for flagged cases. What should I check first?"
Important: Loop Assistant is currently available to early access participants only. If you don't see the icon, confirm with your team that Loop Assistant has been enabled for your shop.
Use Cases
Loop Assistant works best for teams that spend most of their day in Loop Admin and need quick answers or guided help during returns operations. Common use cases include:
Find and review returns
Ask for recent returns, specific return lookups, or filtered views. Use follow-up prompts to narrow by status or criteria.
Understand policy settings
Ask what your current policy settings are and follow up on specific areas you want clarified.
Workflow guidance
Ask for help creating or reviewing a workflow. Use follow-up prompts to validate logic and confirm steps.
Prompt examples that work well:
"Show me the most recent returns."
"Show me flagged returns."
"Help me create a new workflow."
"What are my current return policies?"
"Show me my invoices."
Note: For tasks you already know how to complete manually, direct navigation is usually faster. Loop Assistant is most valuable when you need guidance, context, or a faster starting point.

FAQ
Does Loop Assistant replace my team?
No. Loop Assistant helps your team work faster, but your team remains responsible for all final decisions and actions taken in Loop.
Is Loop Assistant available to all merchants?
Not yet — it's currently available to early access participants. Availability depends on shop-level feature enablement.
Can I use Loop Assistant from any page in Loop Admin?
Loop Assistant is designed for supported merchant admin contexts. Behavior and available guidance may vary depending on the page you're on.
What's the fastest way to get value from Loop Assistant?
Use one clear prompt tied to your current page, then follow up with one focused question. Keeping sessions to a single topic produces the most useful responses.
I can't see the Loop Assistant icon — what should I do?
Loop Assistant is currently only available to early access participants. Refresh your admin session and confirm with your team or Merchant Success Manager that it's been enabled for your shop.
Loop Assistant opened but my messages aren't getting a response — what should I try?
Retry your message, then refresh the page and try again. If the issue persists, confirm you can access other admin features normally and contact support.
The response I got doesn't match what I expected — what should I do?
Ask a follow-up with more specific context, or break the request into smaller steps. Always validate outcomes directly in the relevant page before taking action.
How do I share feedback on Loop Assistant?
Use the in-product feedback prompt after a session to submit feedback directly.
