Cart.com Integration

Edited

OVERVIEW

The integration between Cart.com and Loop is a two-way integration owned and maintained by Jazz Central. Jazz has built and maintains this integration, which means no developer work is needed on the merchant's end. The integration in Jazz polls Loop on a recurring basis for new RMAs. Once a return is processed, the RMA is updated in Loop in real time.

How it works

The integration is responsible for performing two primary actions:

  • Creating returns within Cart.com’s order/warehouse management system, Jazz Central (“Jazz”), when a return is initiated through Loop.

  • Processing a return within Loop based on items received by Jazz.

When items return to the warehouse, Jazz sends Loop line-item level information from which Loop triggers a process event.

Returns workflow

  1. The customer submits the return to Loop.

  2. An RMA is created in Jazz within 15 minutes.

  3. Jazz receives the package, generates an item receipt, and uses Loop’s API to process the RMA.

  4. Return is automatically processed based on the receipt and merchant criteria such as condition, expected items, etc.

  5. The return shows as complete in Loop.
