AMS Fulfillment Integration
OVERVIEW
The integration between AMS Fulfillment and Loop is a two-way integration that creates return records (ASN or RMA) within AMS when a return is initiated in Loop. When the RMA is complete in AMS, the refund message or flag is sent back to Loop. AMS built and maintains this integration.
Setup
The setup is primarily executed by AMS. AMS will need full access to the Loop admin and then they will complete setup from there. If you're interested in configuring this integration, reach out to your point of contact at AMS.
How it works
This integration leverages Loop’s Warehouse API to pull ASN data on a recurring basis, using it to create RMAs within AMS. This integration does not leverage a plug-and-play template and will require development for each instance.
Returns Workflow:
Customer initiates a return or exchange in the merchant's Loop portal.
Return created triggers Loop to send AMS a webhook event that is used to automatically create the RMA in AMS’s order management system (OMS).
The RMA number in AMS’s OMS corresponds to the Loop RMA ID in the URL, not the RMA name that is displayed at the top of the RMA page.
For example, RMA 99904598 = https://admin.loopreturns.com/returns/99904598
When enabled for the merchant's account, AMS sends Loop a message to process a refund to the customer when all of the RMA’s items are received into available status.
AMS sends Loop a flag return message if one or more of the RMA’s items are received as damaged, or are missing from the RMA.
Note: AMS will periodically check Loop by calling the API to see if any ASNs are available. If they are, AMS will pull them.
