PFS Integration

Edited

OVERVIEW

The partnership between PFS and Loop is a two-way integration. When a return is initiated in Loop, the integration creates a return record within PFS. Then, the integration processes or flags the returns based on the receipt criteria of items PFS receives.

PFS built and maintains this integration. For any questions regarding setup or troubleshooting, please reach out to your PFS point of contact.

How it works

This integration uses Loop’s Returns API, or Warehouse API, to pull ASN data on a recurring basis. The returns workflow below shows all the moments the API is used during the returns process.

Returns workflow

  1. Customer submits a return to Loop.

  2. Loop generates a shipping that includes original order number & Loop return number.

  3. Consumers send shipment to PFS.

  4. Warehouse receives return package and creates item receipt within PFS.

  5. Loop’s API integration is used to request Return details (https://api.loopreturns.com/api/v1/warehouse/return/details).

  6. Loop's API integration is used to send flag return based on client receipt criteria and Return is updated in Loop system (https://api.loopreturns.com/api/v1/warehouse/return/{return_id}/flag).

  7. Return is closed in PFS WMS.

  8. Return is complete.

Setup

This integration does not leverage a plug-and-play template and will require development for each instance. If you're interested in integrating PFS with Loop, please contact PFS Project Manager or Business Manager to get started.
