Linnworks Integration

Edited

OVERVIEW

Linnworks is an ecommerce inventory and order management platform that allows merchants to automate, manage, and connect inventory, orders, and fulfillment from a single application. Merchants can integrate Linnworks into Loop to automatically update their Linnworks inventory based on Loop return data.

This integration is built and maintained by Linnworks.

How it works

When a return is created in Loop, the return information is passed to Linnworks, allowing merchants to manage returns primarily in Linnworks without needing to log into Loop separately. The process works as follows:

  1. A customer submits a return request in Loop.

  2. This return, known as an RMA, is sent from Loop to Linnworks. If the return involves an exchange, a note is added in Linnworks to indicate that manual processing is required. To prevent order duplication, Loop will create the exchange order once the RMA is approved.

  3. The warehouse operator scans the returned item and updates the return status in Linnworks (accepted, declined, etc.). This update is then sent back to Loop.

  4. Loop notifies Shopify to either issue a refund or create a new exchange order, based on the customer’s preference.

Additional Details

  • When a return is created in Loop, the return data is also sent to Linnworks to update the merchant’s inventory.

  • Canceled orders in Linnworks must be manually processed or canceled in Loop.

  • Important: Each product SKU must be unique in Linnworks. To avoid issues, product SKUs should match across Loop, Linnworks, and Shopify.
