OVERVIEW

James & James (J&J) is a UK Warehouse Management System (WMS) platform that merchants use to manage their warehouse operations. Loop’s 2-way integration with J&J allows merchants to:

  • Automatically create an RMA in J&J when a return is submitted in Loop.

  • Automatically process, flag, or close the return in Loop when the item is processed in J&J.

How it Works

Once connected, Loop will begin creating returns in J&J any time a return is submitted in Loop by a customer. When the return is updated in J&J, that return will either process, flag, or close in Loop automatically. Return reasons will be automatically created in J&J to match up with return reasons in Loop.
Note: Returns canceled in J&J must manually be processed or canceled in Loop

Setup

To set up this integration, you will need API keys from both Loop & J&J, and then input them in the Synks portal to connect. To get access to the Synks portal, please reach out to your Merchant Success Manager, Onboarding Specialist, or support@loopreturns.com 

  1. In the Loop Admin, navigate to Returns management > Tools & integrations > Developer tools.

  2. Under API keys, click Generate API key

  1. Select the scopes for: Return & Developer Tools and name the API key “J&J integration,” This name is for your own internal labeling convenience. Click Generate to create a Loop API key.

    Note: you’ll need to copy & paste this API key in a later step

  1. In your J&J dashboard, navigate to the Settings page

  2. Scroll down until you see the API V2 window. Generate a J&J API Key.

  1. In the Synks portal that you received a link for from your Loop representative, navigate to the Onboard tab and paste the copied API keys into the respective fields.

  1. Press the Submit button, and that’s it!

Important: Each product SKU must be unique in J&J. To avoid issues, product SKUs should match across Loop, J&J, and Shopify.

How long does this integration take to set up? This should take only 2 -5 minutes to set up.
Do I need a developer to complete set up? No, this can be done by any user with Loop Admin & J&J access.

Is there an additional cost to use this integration? No, any merchant with access to integrations in Loop can use the J&J integration at no additional cost.
