Carrier Rates Calculator

OVERVIEW

The Carrier Rate Calculator allows you to quickly and easily see the carriers and rates that are available across Ship By Loop, Ship By Loop Worldwide, and EasyPost. This takes the guess work out of choosing which carriers to connect in each of your return policies to receive the best rates for you and your customers.

Navigate to the Shipping page from within your Loop admin and scroll to the bottom of the page to find your Carrier Rate Calculator.

Then select the Origin & Destination countries OR specific address and click submit to see available carriers and rates.

Important: Providers and carriers must be connected under the Shipping services section of your shipping page in order to show results in the calculator

Note: If you enable “Use Return Service” these become opposite. So you will want the Origin (customer) country as the Destination and the Destination (Merchant warehouse) to be the Origin country.

Selecting 'Advanced options' allows for more specificity when entering shipment information for more accurate rates.

Note: Without these options we do default a small package (under 2lbs) to generate label costs.

Additionally, the “How are my costs calculated?” button provides insight in how the different variables entered are impacting the results generated.

After clicking submit, you'll see all available carriers and rates displayed and grouped by shipping service. You can use this information to determine which carriers to link to each of your different policies.

Remember that we will always rate shop amongst all linked carriers and service types when actually providing a label to your customer even if you have multiple carriers linked to the same return policy.
