Pro Carrier Integration
OVERVIEW
The Pro Carrier integration simplifies international returns for Loop merchants by providing an end-to-end solution that covers return label generation, first-mile logistics, customs clearance, and delivery back to your preferred processing facility. This integration removes the operational and geographical friction associated with cross-border returns, enabling brands to confidently scale their global footprint.

How it works
Pro Carrier leverages its platform to allow merchants and shoppers to view the entire return process, receive notifications on any issues, and access data and documentation regarding a return quickly and easily.
This is a two-way integration:
A customer submits a return request in Loop
Loop sends shipment data to Pro Carrier and requests for a label
Return labels are dynamically generated by Pro Carrier's system and displayed to the end customer
Pro Carrier then feeds tracking and status updates back into Loop.
This seamless data flow enables refund triggers, enhanced visibility, and comprehensive reporting directly within the merchant's Loop dashboard.
Setup
Note: A Pro Carrier account and return service agreement are required to use the Pro Carrier integration.
To set up this integration, you will need an API key from both Loop and Pro Carrier, and then input them in the Synks portal to connect. To get access to the Synks portal, please reach out to your Loop Merchant Success Manager, Onboarding Specialist, or support@loopreturns.com
Ask the Pro Carrier team for an API key for the Loop integration. You’ll need to copy & paste this API key in a later step
In the Loop Admin, navigate to Returns management > Tools & integrations > Developer tools.
Under API keys, click Generate API key
Select the scopes listed below and name the API key “Pro Carrier integration,” This name is for your own internal labeling convenience. Click Generate to create a Loop API key. Note: you’ll need to copy & paste this API key in a later step

Developer Tools
Open the onboarding link provided by the Loop team.
Under the Integration tab, set an identifier for this integration. Example: “UK STORE”. Hit Save.
In the Settings tab, you may choose to override default tracking status mappings.
Navigate to the Credentials tab, then paste the copied API keys into the respective fields.
Press the Save button
Contact your Loop representative to obtain a Webhook URL. This URL must be provided to the Pro Carrier team to enable tracking updates for the integration.
Once connected, you will need to add Pro Carrier as the label provider on the respective return policies you want Pro Carrier to create labels for in Loop:
Navigate to Returns management > Policy settings > Return policies.
Create a new return policy or edit an existing one.
Ensure that Generate labels is toggled on.
Under Label provider, select External connector.
