Treet Integration
OVERVIEW
Treet is a branded resale platform that helps merchants drive revenue growth, increase LTV, and acquire customers while minimizing their carbon footprint. With Treet, merchants can launch a tailored peer-to-peer or take-back resale experience in under a week.
And now, thanks to Loop’s integration with Treet, merchants who are using Treet to power their resale marketplaces can create an option for their shoppers to easily list and sell their non-returnable items directly onto their Treet marketplace.
This integration is jointly owned and maintained by Loop and Treet.
How it works
With the Treet integration, merchants can:
Delight shoppers with an easy way to recoup costs on unwanted, non-returnable items.
Reduce waste by making it easy for unwanted items to find a new home.
Drive awareness, traffic, and sales volume through their resale marketplace.
Earn revenue from the items sold on their Treet marketplace and bring more exposure to their investments in sustainable commerce.
Shopper experience
Once the Treet integration is enabled, any items that are ineligible for return in the Shopper Portal will have a Resell on [Treet Store Name] button.
When the shopper clicks through, they're redirected to Treet to complete their listing. To help streamline the process, Loop will automatically populate the product title, description, images, and as many other fields as possible.
A demo of the Treet integration can be seen in the video below.
Setup
In the Loop admin, navigate to Returns management > Tools & integrations, then scroll down to the Treet tile.
Toggle the integration on. This opens the Enable Treet modal, where the merchant can optionally choose to configure the appearance and text of the Resell on [Treet Store Name] button. If all looks good, simply click Enable to finish setup.
Best practices
There may be items or products that are either ineligible for returns or that don't make sense to resell, such as shipping insurance. Merchants may also only want to enable the resale option for shoppers in certain countries. Whatever the case may be, the following workflow can be used to exclude resale as an option wherever it shouldn’t be displayed:
Action → Exclude outcomes → Exclude resell
An example screenshot is shown below.
For details on how to set up workflows, see Workflows.
Plan information
This integration is included on all Loop plans and can be toggled on or off at any time.
Note: To be able to use the integration, merchants first need to have a peer-to-peer marketplace created through Treet. Merchants who don't use Treet but would like to learn more can visit Treet's website to get started.
