NRI 3PL Integration
OVERVIEW
The partnership between NRI 3PL and Loop is a two-way integration, based on approved workflows between the merchant and NRI 3PL. When a return is initiated in Loop, the integration creates a return record such as RA (return authorization) within NRI 3PL. Then, the integration processes or flags the returns based on receipt criteria of items NRI 3PL receives. This integration is built and maintained by NRI.

How it works
This integration is a two-way integration based on approved workflows between the merchant and NRI 3PL. The integration uses Loop’s Return API to pull ASN data on a recurring basis. When a return is initiated in Loop, the integration creates a return record within NRI 3PL. The returns workflow below shows all the moments the API is used during the returns process.
Returns Workflow
1. Customer submits a return to Loop
2. Return created in Loop's API
3. NRI pulls the return merchandise authorization (RA) from the Returns API
4. RA is created in NRI 3PL with data from the API
5. Warehouse receives return package and creates return receipt within NRI 3PL
6. The integration uses Loop's API to trigger a Process or Flag event based on receipt criteria
7. The RA is closed in NRI 3PL
8. Return is complete
Important: This integration does not leverage a plug-and-play template and will require development for each instance.

How long will it take to set up this integration? Implementation and maintenance are handled by NRI 3PL with support from the Loop team. The timeline is 1-2 weeks from the time NRI 3PL receives all requirements and approved scope of work.

What is required for integration? NRI 3PL will require a deep-dive requirement review with you. In this meeting, we will discuss your current returns process and business needs to ensure a smooth integration that will take full advantage of Loop's API.
