Fixes + Improvements
USPS Rate Card update
Loop's Platform Rates with USPS for Ground Advantage and Priority Mail were updated on 7/13/2025 with this new rate card. Overall, rates have increased in line with USPS increases on standard rates:
Ground Advantage rates increased an average of $0.16 or 3.41% for Loop’s most commonly used weights & zones
Priority Mail rates increased $0.75 or 8% for Loop’s most commonly used weights & zones
If you already use USPS through Ship by Loop or EasyPost, no action is needed to implement these rates. To learn more, please review the Negotiated Carrier Rates article.
Bonus Credit enhancement: tax inclusive setting
When calculating Bonus Credit for Shop Now or Store Credit as a percentage of the return value, there is now the option for this to be tax inclusive. This is valuable in regions where tax is expected to be included in pricing and discounts (eg. VAT in Europe).
Brightpearl integration: new settings added
For merchants using the Brightpearl integration, we've added key new settings that give you more control to how data flows between Loop & Brightpearl. You can find these on the Settings tab of the Synks portal setup:
Process Closed Loop RMAs
This controls whether inventory is received against the Sales Credit in Brightpearl when a return is processed in Loop
Close Sales Credit on Inventory Received
This controls whether the Sales Credit is automatically closed in Brightpearl when inventory is received
Create Customer Payment on Inventory Received
This controls whether a customer payment is created in Brightpearl when inventory is received against the Sales Credit
Handling Fee Tax Code
This controls tax calculation on handling fees, meaning the integration will now calculate and post taxes to the handling fee line item on Sales Credits
Upcoming migrations
Royal Mail V3 for EasyPost
Merchants shipping with Royal Mail via EasyPost must migrate to Royal Mail V3 by September 30, 2025. If you have an existing Royal Mail account that needs to migrate, you should have received an email from EasyPost with the necessary credentials. Follow these instructions to migrate,
If Royal Mail is your preferred carrier for return shipping, you will also need to mark the new Royal Mail V3 account as preferred in your Loop shipping settings. Otherwise, we will rate shop across all enabled carriers.
