Loop Shopify Installation

Edited

OVERVIEW

The Loop Returns app exists as a Shopify application, and while Loop often integrates seamlessly, this article will cover some of the common installation questions.

Installation process

  1. Install Loop from the Shopify App Store.

Note: Since Loop is not a public app available on Shopify's App Store, the message below is shown when installing Loop. This is a trusted message and you may proceed with the installation.

  2. After installing Loop, the merchant is redirected to the Account Hub in Shopify to complete the following steps:

    • Sign up with a Loop team member

      • If the merchant has already met with Loop sales and signed a contract, they enter the customer code emailed to them by their Loop sales representative.

      • If the merchant hasn't signed a contract yet, they can request a demo code.

    • Configure Returns Portal Name

      • Enter the desired name for the merchant's return portal in the Portal Name field. This will automatically create a temporary return portal URL, which can be changed later in the Loop Admin.

    • Configure Email Settings

      • Configure the merchant's support email preferences.

    • Enter Payment Details

      • This section includes a link to Ordway, where merchants can set up their payment method.

    • Add users to your account

      • In this section, merchants can add their team to Loop by creating user accounts for them.

FAQ

I attempted to install Loop, but Shopify would not allow me to complete the setup. This may occur if your Shopify account does not have Administrative access. To complete the setup, you will need access to install apps in Shopify. If you have Admin access and are still unable to complete the install, contact support@loopreturns.com or your Onboarding Manager.

Will I need a developer involved to complete this integration? No. Loop setups can be completed without development assistance. Shop now On-Store will require some developer assistance (this can generally be completed in about 2 hours).

How should I test my Loop integration? Read more information on testing Loop here: Testing Your Loop Instance.

I would like to change my Returns Portal URL. Please contact support@loopreturns.com or your Account/Onboarding Manager to modify your Returns Portal URL.

If you are unable to complete your Loop installation - Please contact support@loopreturns.com or your Account/Onboarding Manager.
