New Features

Split Refunds

All merchants now have access to Split Refunds. This feature supports the ability to offer store credit and refund to original payment when the return includes 1+ item that is only eligible for store credit. This feature follows your existing return policies and will not change how you issue store credit.

New Integrations

Linnworks

is an inventory, order, and warehouse management software popular in the UK. With this two-way integration, merchants can:

  • Automate return processing by integrating Loop and Linnworks

  • Save time by removing manual tasks

  • Easily self-onboard and have visibility into syncs between both systems

Visit the Linnworks article to learn more.

Peoplevox

is a UK and AU Warehouse Management System (WMS) platform that merchants use to manage their warehouse operations. Loop’s 2-way integration with Peoplevox allows merchants to:

  • Automatically create a RMA in Peoplevox when a return is submitted in Loop -Automatically process, flag, close the return in Loop when the item is processed in Peoplevox -Pull in item grading and disposition data to Loop from Peoplevox

USPS Label Scan

You can now lookup returns using our new label scan feature in Loop Admin. Simply hit 'scan' next the search bar, and use your scanner to read the USPS label - saving you time on manual entry.

Fixes + Improvements

Offset Free Enhancements

Preferred Carrier

Merchants can now select a preferred carrier for Offset Free Shipping between USPS and FedEx. This allows you to get free return shipping through Offset with your carrier of choice. If a preferred carrier is not selected, Loop will rate-shop between the two.

Note: Selecting FedEx as the preferred carrier is a manual action that needs to be done on the backend. Also, making FedEx preferred might involve an increase in Offset fees because their labels are more expensive on average than USPS.

International Return Policies

Offset Free merchants can now support international returns. Merchants will need to setup their own shipping accounts for international labels, as the default account only supports US domestic labels. Loop will not invoice merchants for Offset fees on international orders and returns.

Loop POS Version 2.3.0

Additional permissions for in-store exceptions

  • You can now choose for only certain store associates to make return policy exceptions in store (via the allowlist).

  • By default, all store associates will continue to have this permission but you can now edit this via POS Settings in Loop Admin.

Return online, drop off in store enhancements

  • If you have store locations enabled to accept online returns you’ll now see an updated flow in Loop POS where we first ask whether the return was started online or not.

  • For returns started online, shoppers will now also be issued with a numeric code which can be input in Loop POS in case QR code scanning is unavailable.

  • Given these updates, we will be deprecating the ‘store redirect at order lookup’ feature, so shoppers will now only see the option to drop off in store at the end of the Loop online returns flow. Non-POS merchants will still be able to use this

Store associate reporting

  • For returns completed via Loop POS, we will now display the store associate name on the return summary in Loop Admin.

Auth0 for POS login

  • We've rolled out Auth0 support for our Point of Sale iOS app.

  • This means your Loop POS admin login will now sync with your Loop Admin credentials.

  • If you are having trouble logging in, ensure your app is updated to the latest version. If the issue persists, resent your Admin password.
