Fixes + Improvements
Offset opt-in flow
To comply with upcoming Shopify App Requirements in an effort to improve transparency and shopper trust, merchants must obtain explicit buyer consent before adding Offset, and any other checkout extensions that affect the order total, to orders. This means that Offset can only be shown as an opt-in experience as opposed to opt-out. All merchants using Offset must update their Offset experience to be default-off and presented as an option for shoppers to opt in to.
To switch prior to Shopify’s deadline of Feb 18, reach out to your Merchant Success Manager or support@loopreturns.com. If you do not switch before Feb 11, Loop will automatically make the update for you to remain compliant with Shopify.
