Loop released many features and improvements in 2023. This article will provide an overview of some of the most significant features that were released in the past year.

Warranties

Loop now supports unique return policies specifically for warranties and allows customers to self-serve those requests through the Loop portal, as they do with standard returns.

Shop Later

Shop Later gives merchants the ability to incentivize customers to convert their refund to exchange or store credit, after the return has been submitted. An email is sent to customers 24 hours after the return is submitted but before it has been approved.

Loop Returns and Exchange Tracking

Loop Returns Tracking allows merchants to provide relevant updates on the Return Status Page, regarding the status of returns and outbound exchange orders helping develop trust with transparent and timely return status notifications.


This feature is available for Advanced, Pro, and Plus merchants.

Discount Distribution Settings

This year, Loop introduced new discount settings that enable you to configure your ideal discount distribution behaviors within the Loop Admin to best fit your discount types and promotional strategies.

Carrier Accounts by Return Policy

Carrier accounts can now be configured by specific return policies based on location and other criteria. This is useful when different carrier or service types need to be configured for international vs domestic returns.

Ship by Loop

Ship by Loop is a new shipping service that allows merchants to seamlessly connect a shipping integration without having to create an account with a third-party shipping service.
