Onboarding for Loop - Starter Plan
Overview
Onboarding to Loop’s Starter Plan consists of setting up your Loop admin and customer return portal. You are guided through the process via prepared materials, with email support from an Onboarding Specialist. The entire process can be accomplished quickly, with your onboarding specialist matching your speed.
Getting started
Add additional user accounts (optional)
Create your location-based return policies, and customize the policy settings.
Grant Loop Access to Shopify (required)
Expect to see the request come through within 24 hours of your Onboarding Specialist reaching out.
This request will be sent to the Store Owner via email or can be found directly in Shopify by navigating to Settings > Users & Permissions. The request will come from payables@loopreturns.com.
Flag any necessary integrations with your onboarding specialists.
Basic setup

Review General Settings
Go to the general settings page in your Loop admin and adjust settings as necessary. General settings are applied to all returns.
Set up return policies
Configure your Shipping Settings
International Shipping - consult your onboarding specialist for best practice
If you are using labels for cross-border returns, please ensure your products are customs ready.
Stripe is required if you charge handling/shipping fees on exchange orders. If you are not charging fees for exchanges you do not need to connect Stripe.
Edit your shopper return portal and customize the content seen throughout the Loop experience.
Advanced setup (optional)
Accommodate scenarios falling outside of a typical return policy.
Test
Testing is a required and important step before going live with Loop. Test different return scenarios, and make sure that all features are working as intended.
Launch
Add the shopper return portal to your return page.
